Please verify game locations and times on Pointstreak as changes are not always effectively communicated to the teams in a timely manner. To do this go to the playoff schedule on Pointstreak located under the season"HPHL playoffs 2012", not just "HPHL 2011/12".  To get there just click here.

Notes from High Plains regarding the playoffs (PLEASE READ):

We need to have two volunteers for each game your team plays - one for the box and one for the admissions table.  This is for home, away, round one, round ten etc...  ie: ALL tournament games! Also have a back up score/clock person in mind just in case a scorekeeper does not show up. Admissions person needs to be there ready to work 30 minutes ahead of game time.  They will be relieved by the time the game starts so they can sit in the stands and watch. Neither volunteer needs to bring anything other than themselves.

Reminder to parents/fans, etc  that there is a gate fee for all playoff games (JV and Girls included). $5/game or $10/weeklong pass. Two different passes for the two weeks (JV and varsity weeks).  These will be available at the admissions table.

All players on all teams are required to submit a current set of grades to be eligible to play in the High Plains playoffs.

Please read below to know what you need to do as it varies by team,

Please always make sure your name and a date shows up somewhere on your grade report!!

JV Blue: email a current Powerschool report to me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or submit a paper copy of your grades to one of the coaches by the start of the game Friday May 4.

JV Red: submit a paper copy of your grades to Coach Berman by the start of the game Friday May 4.

Varsity: submit a current copy by email to me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or present a paper copy of your grades to Coach Bammert or Coach Irish by Sunday May 6th.

There is too much going on for us to track everyone down so let's just get this done so that all players can be eligible to play.  If you think you have an issue, please do not ignore this request: get a hold of a coach or email me as soon as possible so we can work on it.  If you do not submit a copy of your current grades, you will not be able to play in the playoffs.

More important information about playoffs:

Playoffs for all divisions are a double elimination format.  Brackets (but not seedings) will be available soon on the High Plains and/or Pointstreak websites.

JV Playoffs start Tuesday May 8 and run through the weekend of May 12 & 13.

Varsity Playoffs start Monday May 14 and run through Saturday May 19.

Note that there is a gate fee charged for ALL playoff games, including all JV games.  Each team will need to provide a person to collect fees at each game, both home and away, as well as someone for the penalty box and possibly, to run the clock and pointstreak.  Please try to help with this when schedules come out.
