Hello Creek High Plains Hockey Players and Families!

It is once again time to begin planning for the upcoming spring 2012 High Plains Hockey season.

Please feel free to pass this information along to anyone attending Cherry Creek High School who might be interested in playing with us this year.  This communication has included the previous year's seniors and their families in case you know anyone that needs this information, or for younger siblings. Apologies to all the flooded inboxes that receive this email twice or more.  Feel free to let us know if you get multiple copies and/or do not wish to be on the email list.

MANDATORY MEETING

We will be having a mandatory player meeting on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 6:30p at South Suburban Family Sports, 6901 S. Peoria Street, Centennial, CO 80112.  We will be in the big conference room.  Parents, you are encouraged to attend!  We will have the registration from 6:30-7:00 PM and then a short meeting to follow.

We cannot emphasize enough that is important to watch the www.cherrycreekhockey.info website for news, forms, links and deadlines.

First the necessary details:

Registration for Creek hockey requires the following:

• Confirmation of 2011-12 USA Hockey registration
• A copy of each player's 2011-12 school ID
• A signed Participant Code of Conduct
• A completed USA Hockey Consent To Treat (Note:need both pages!)
• A completed Player Contact Information Sheet
• Payment of fees
• Registration in High Plains Hockey League

Please please please bring these items to the registration meeting.  Often forgotten is the copy of the student ID so please try to remember this.

High Plains registration will open soon.  Watch the website   http://www.highplainshockey.com/ for updates.  The cost to register is as follows:

From the opening of registration in November thru Jan 15  $29

Jan 16 thru Feb 29  $50

After March 1 - $100 and director approval

Fees and Registrations:

Please register early for High Plains and save on fees.

The Creek hockey registration fees remain the same this year and will be $475.00 for Junior Varsity and $675.00 for Varsity.  Due to the fact that we need to pay a portion of the registration fees to the league before the season actually gets started, we will need to collect a deposit of $475.00 from every player at this Dec 15 meeting.  Try-outs will be held closer to the High Plains season and once the Varsity team is selected, we will collect the remaining $200.00 Varsity fee. All fees will need to be paid in full before the first team hockey practice sessions.

We will also be taking orders for Creek Hockey Jerseys, warm-ups and Creek Hockey bags at this Dec 15th meeting. This is the only opportunity to order these items so they will arrive before the season starts as orders have to be sent to the manufacturer immediately.  Payment is due upon receipt of the goods but will be accepted at registration.

Either print out the attached forms or go to the www.cherrycreekhockey.info website and print out, complete and bring the Code of Conduct, Consent to Treat and Player Contact Information forms with you to our first meeting Dec 15 along with a copy of your current student ID and 2011-12 USA hockey registratio

Please note: You should plan to come to the Dec 15 meeting with these 5 documents and a check for the $475 deposit made payable to Creek Hockey.
